Last spring ABC tv put on a Sunday night midseason replacement called "Grey's Anatomy". I tuned it in because I saw a preview and had really enjoyed Ellen Pompeo in "Moonlight Mile" and had been intrigued by Sandra Oh from "Sideways". The show proved to be a delight and we watched it religiously each Sunday night at 9 (ct).
Last night was the season premiere and it was every bit as good as last season. It is about the staff of new surgical interns at a Seattle teaching hospital. The writing is good; the dialog snappy; the characters engaging.
Over the summer we have taken to watching "Mystery" on PBS and are currently enjoying several episodes of "Foyle's War". Since they overlap by a half-hour, I am recording "Grey's Anatomy" to watch afterwards.
