The first of the peaches have come off of the tree. Jean brought me the first one and after my first bite all I could say, juice running down my chin, was "Oh my God."
I had memories that peaches had tasted better in my youth but had chalked it up to child-of-the-fifties nostalgia syndrome. Yet even these fifty-something tastebuds were overwhelmed when bathed in the true glory of peachness. Ahhhh!

A package arrived today from Robert and it was the belly-dancing outfit Maryse had requested. She loves it and told him we would get it posted quickly, and here it is.

Granddaughter Maryse has brought Great Granddaughter Emma for a visit while papa Robert is on duty in the middle east.

By the way, from the fact that I am posting again, you may surmise that Kirk has harvested the surviving bits and resurrected my computer. Like robocop and the bionic man before, it is stronger and more powerful version of its former self.
