When you do the color meditations, seat yourself comfortably at a time that you will not be disturbed. Imagine the picture based on the words and let the picture come. Don't try to force it, but do attend to the different sights that you see. Notice them. Notice the colors that appear based on the intent of the words that you are using. Don't become frustrated if the entire picture doesn't appear immediately. The more you practice, the more you will see.
Select the color you choose to work with. Take a moment to clearly attune to and visualize this color.
To breathe in colored light, imagine yourself standing in the middle of a large vase. Imagine a source of light above you streaming down into the vase completely filling it until you see yourself surrounded by a vase of colored light.
